Rainy Sunday
Summer 2011 has been the 2nd "hottest" summer on record.
62 days of triple digit heat.
Drought and fires.
Today was the kick off for Christmas card photo shoots.
Rain, rain, rain.
Although I was bummed to reschedule two sessions,
I must say the sound and smell of rain is a glorious thing!
Dark skies and fresh smells, oh how you've been missed!
With my husband studying for finals,
a 3-day weekend, the sound of rain,
and a holiday soon approaching,
the cookie crave set in.
Mmmmm!

Purple Invades Burnt Orange
On Saturday, we dressed in our usual purple and invaded a house full of burnt orange.
We absolutely adore these friends, but...
I must forewarn my K-Staters reading.
Watch out! This house was full of orange!
Obviously I felt the need to take pictures rather than watching the game.
And as I began to realize just how much orange there really was, I resorted to following

Victory Day
SATURDAY
It began:
Girls afternoon of Hair On Tour to see Emily on stage once again!
Fun with yarn art in downtown Dallas
before the show to celebrate Hippie Love!
Then it was off for a couples' evening full of
friends, bbq, stories, sweet smiles, and victories for all!
KSU / baylor = WIN
TEXAS / isu = WIN
SMU / tcu = WIN
And even Nathan became quite a photographer!
Saturday = Success!
