Baby K Arrival

A little girl waits.

For nine months, Mommy & Daddy prepare her with words and actions. 

Love the baby, kiss the baby, sing to the baby, share with the baby.

For nine months, she had to wait.

But the waiting is over and that day has come!

It's time to meet the newest addition to her family...

A SISTER!

A sister to laugh with,

 to care for,

and guide. 

A sister to love,

and kiss,

 and spoil forever!

My First Burlesque

Kossow Family

Here is another family that I came to know well through years of babysitting!

We spent a coooooooooolllldd morning on the farm in December.

At first, the barn provided a bit of a wind break,

but then it was off to the field where the Kansas cold hit us hard!

Don't worry...I prepared for a cold photo shoot!

Wrapping up in quilts warmed us up, and made for some great photos!

Johnson Family

When I was home last,

I spent an afternoon with a family that I spent many times with in high school.

I started babysitting these kiddos when they were all under the age of 10!

It was so great to spend a day with them, catching up on life,

and seeing the kiddos interact together as young adults...crazy!

And it wouldn't be a complete photo session without pictures on top of the shed, 

where they spent many hours climbing like monkeys years ago!
